Our ESET security has saved me a couple of times recently from the consequences of absent-mindedly clicking on the delete boxes of old e-mails. There are some sneaky bastards out there.
I think this is a bit harsh. And I think I was harsh on myself. If you read Norman Fenton he had a similar thing. I was trying to do a favour for a friend by voting for him. the more I think about it the more angrier I am with Twitter who are in breach of contract, and basic decency. Waht really annoys me is how they just let the account be used to push crypto and no doubt scam others although I have tried my hardest to warn everyone I know.
The account has clearly been hacked, and twitter have replied sorry we can't do anything about it. If I had the time and energy to sum them I would. But I don't.
Barrister at law. It is silly really but it signifies that I was called to the bar in Ireland (although never practised there.) People in Ireland seem to use it...
I wish I read that earlier. I have received a similar email saying - sorry can't help from Twitter. I was also blue tick, paying for the service that they have essentially said, GFU
A salutory lesson Laura, it is easy to be taken in by these people. Enjoy your weekend.
It's amazing how many people use the same password - ********

I was just thinking....what does this say about those of us who value your opinions?

That was a joke, Laura, albeit a clumsy one. I agree that you were too harsh on yourself.
Does the 'BL' in '@LaPerrinsBL' stand for anything?

Thanks.
Twitter is over rated. There's a better class of people here on Substack.
I think you are right.
Read Steve Kirsch's blog from within the last week...
Could you link?
