Is there a story of more woe than Meghan Markle and her Romeo? Prince Harry was back in the UK for a court case over security costs last week. He lost. In an interview after the case Prince Harry admitted that he only comes back to the UK for “court cases and funerals.”
As well as having to cover his own security costs in the UK, Prince Harry must also find the £1.5 million in legal costs he has incurred in fighting this case. Poor Meghan might have to stop making so many ‘lavender bags’ for house guests as demonstrated in her Netflix show With Love from Meghan.
This latest legal defeat triggered Prince Harry to give an ill-advised interview to the BBC where he looks tired and worn-out. He is also very whiney.
Prince Harry complains half way through the interview that security will now be used to control and ‘imprison’ other members of the Royal family. This is the crux of the problem. For Harry, being born of Royal blood, is a prison not a privilege. He also thinks all the other Royals are also imprisoned waiting to be set free by the freedom fighters Harry and Meghan. #FreetheRoyals! In truth Harry has constructed his very own prison of misery out in sunny California.
Prince Harry also said, “if you strip away all the noise of everything that has been said by other people … I think what people will hear is that the only thing that I have been asking for is safety. Both within the institution and when I left.” Nope. This is pure delusion.
What everyone is hearing is you, Prince Harry, moaning. You got what you wanted and you are still not happy. You got to leave the Institution, “the prison” and raise chickens in the Golden State with your beautiful wife and two lovely children and yet here you are still bellyaching over your lot. Of course, I said this would happen.
