Johnson. The man who put immigration on steroids, far more than Blair ever did. Blair was bad enough. Johnson waved it all through because he was too lazy and useless to read the smallprint. He did more damage to conservatism than anybody else in living memory.

Boris Johnson is a traitor: entirely venal, bought by external interests, answering only to them. Everything he says or writes, his very presence indeed, is an insult. A public flogging is what he deserves. It is the only thing which might take some of the self-regard out of a deeply immoral, unpleasant, narcissistic, degenerate oaf

Indeed. And to think that at one time I used to speak up for him. Not anymore, or for at least 4 and a half years anyway.

I've always thought that Boris ought to have his haircut style named after him. The famous hairstylist of the 1920s Francois Marcel had the Marcel Wave named after him, maybe we should call the Boris cut "The Boris Wave"

I'll get my coat.....

Unfair on Boris. He tried to keep the schools open until the imminent Easter break and to reopen them relatively soon afterwards. The teaching unions refused, with Labour support. Neither was he responsible for the universities' remote teaching policies, which were not mandated by Government but were all their own work.

Yes, he could have done better - very few Western Governments came out of this well - but there is plenty of blame to go round that you have ignored, Laura.

There is no denying BoJo is a very, very weak man who can not stop reproducing regardless of the woman in sight. A deeply flawed man, but the way he has treated wives, colleagues, his party, the economy, our children..... points to deeper, darker problems.

He literally could not care less.

While every word Laura writes about the failed pseudo intellectual known as BoJo is entirely valid, the House of Commons and the House of Lords is polluted by nincompoops.

Just looking at the Prime Ministers:

Tone 'WEF' Blurrrrr (astounding levels of evil)

'Angry' Geo 'central bankster' Brown.

Diddi to the C (PR over substance)

Dame T May (utterly talentless, evil)

The one who shall remain nameless

L Truss (short term, but damaging)

Venture Capitalist Sunak (unapologetically self-serving)

Mr KR Starmer KC

All have committed treason.

But, Mr Starmer KC is the one who seeks to eclipse the almighty Tone Blurrr.

He's that dangerous.

Let's not forget the nincompoops that were in charge in Ireland. Excellent piece Laura.

The Boris 👋 Deliverooed more immigrants than Tony Blair, that was one positive wasn’t it, because we all love immigrants don’t we.

You're right about Bojo Laura. However, he does have a point about 'Adolescence'. Starmer should stay out of the classroom and education. He's bloody useless at everything he touches.

Both Johnson and the Guardian are masters of the art of whitewashing.

And Tony Holohan (former Irish chief medical officer) is thinking for running for President of Ireland. How much damage and death did that man achieve?

I was a member of the Conservatives during the leadership election in 2019. I wanted a new right-wing leader. There wasn't a right-wing candidate. There's no place for buffoonery in political power, and I didn't want to see Boris Johnson become PM. I voted for the only alternative, Jeremy Hunt. Not a member of the party now, I'm not sure who I'll be voting for at the next General Election.
